This is the website of LOGOS: the council of the national Dutch research schools in the Humanities. LOGOS was founded in 2008 as a platform to exchange ideas about the best ways in which these national research schools could be organised. The national Dutch research schools are associations that coordinate the research and provide education to PhD students and researchmaster students in a certain discipline. Sixteen national research schools are currently associated with LOGOS.
In 2011 LOGOS signed an agreement with the deans of a number of faculties in the Humanities in which the research schools promised to provide education for at least 20 ects (European credit transfer system) to PhD students and for 10 ects to researchmaster students registered with the research schools, spread over two years. The educational programmes of the research schools are listed on the websites of the individual research schools.
